Data Subject Rights Procedure

Overview​

This document describes how users can exercise their rights regarding personal data held by CollaFi. Where data protection law applies to you, these are legal rights and we honour them; we extend the same process to all users regardless of location.

Your Data Rights​

Right to Access​

You can request a copy of the personal data CollaFi holds about you. This includes your profile information (display name, email) and a summary of your platform activity.

Right to Rectification​

You can request that CollaFi correct any inaccurate or incomplete data. Most profile information can be updated directly through your profile settings on the platform.

Right to Erasure​

You can request deletion of your profile information (display name and email). Note that on chain transaction data cannot be deleted as it is permanently recorded on the Hedera network. This is a property of blockchain technology, not a choice by CollaFi.

Right to Data Portability​

You can request your profile data in a portable format (such as JSON or CSV). Wallet addresses and on chain transaction data are already publicly accessible on the Hedera network.

Right to Object​

You can object to processing for specific purposes, such as analytics or marketing communications. You can unsubscribe from non essential email notifications through your profile settings.

Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw that consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

How to Exercise Your Rights​

Submit a Request​

Email info@w3b.studio with the subject line “Data Rights Request”. Include:

  • Your wallet address (Hedera Account ID).
  • Your display name.
  • The right you want to exercise.
  • Any specific data or processing you want to address.

Verification​

CollaFi will verify your identity before processing the request. You may be asked to sign a message from your wallet to confirm ownership. This is essential to protect your account from unauthorized requests.

Response Time​

CollaFi will acknowledge your request within 7 days and provide a substantive response within 30 days. Complex requests may take longer, and you will be informed if additional time is needed.

Limitations​

On Chain Data​

Wallet addresses and transaction history are recorded on the Hedera network and are inherently public and permanent. CollaFi cannot delete or modify this data.

Refused Requests​

CollaFi may refuse a request that is unfounded, excessive, or requested with a clearly manipulative or abusive intent. If a request is refused, CollaFi will explain the reasoning. Users have the right to appeal refused requests.

No Fee for Reasonable Requests​

Reasonable data rights requests are processed at no charge. CollaFi may charge a reasonable administrative fee for repetitive, unfounded, or excessive requests, or may refuse such requests.
